By using BucketPal, you agree to the following terms.

Platform fee

BucketPal charges a 3.5% platform fee on each contribution. This fee is non-refundable and covers payment processing and platform operations. The fee is deducted from the contribution amount before funds are deposited to the organizer's account.

How funds work

BucketPal uses Stripe Connect to process payments. Contributions are sent directly to the organizer's Stripe-connected bank account. BucketPal never holds, pools, or has custody of any funds. BucketPal is not a bank, escrow service, or financial institution.

Tax reporting

Stripe is required by federal law to issue a 1099-K tax form to any organizer who receives $600 or more in payments in a calendar year. This is standard across all payment platforms. As an organizer, you are responsible for understanding and fulfilling your tax obligations related to funds received through your bucket.
